BIOGRAPHY

Steve Winshel is the CEO and Co-Founder of Paraxis, a company that has developed technology for the very early detection of cognitive decline using only spoken and written language as input. A serial entrepreneur, he has launched numerous startups, including two in the metabolic syndrome space, one of which was acquired by UnitedHealth Group.

Steve combines a research background in cognitive science with leadership experience in health innovation. He also teaches entrepreneurship courses at Columbia Business School and Cornell Tech, training the next generation of founders and innovators.
